1. Bourton-on-the-Water

2. Cheltenham

Producers from a 30-mile radius of the Cotswolds’ major spa town sell a wide array of delicious delights including fruit and veg, cheeses, meats, bread, cakes and puddings.

3. Chipping Norton

Head to Market Place to find local honey, baked goodies, cheeses, fruit and vegetables… in fact everything you need to rustle up a fabulously tasty meal or snack back at your holiday cottage.

Head to Cirencester to sample locally sourced organic and non-organic seasonal fruit, veg, meat and cheese. This is also a great place to purchase poultry, eggs and cakes too!

5. Gloucester

Gloucester’s market takes place at The Cross where more than 20 local producers sell a good variety of local food and drink, with everything from award-winning cheeses, wines and ciders, to fresh fruit and veg from local growers.

6. Stow-on-the-Wold

Market Square in the gorgeous Stow is the location of this bustling Cotswold market. A great place to stock up on local specialities to wow your friends and family at your holiday rental or take home to recreate the Cotswold experience.

7. Stroud

One of the biggest and busiest farmers’ markets in the Cotswold region, with between 45 and 60 stalls each week, selling Cotswold cheeses, chutneys and preserves, speciality butchers, cooked food stalls, ice cream and certified organic traders, depending on the season. While it has been featured by many cooking shows and major national publications, it has not lost its authenticity with all produce and crafts gathered or created within a 17-mile radius. Plenty of opportunities to sample the delicious foods from local, artisan producers before you buy.
