2000 Trees Music Festival(Last Updated On: July 11, 2018)
If you’re visiting the Cotswolds this summer, you don’t want to miss the multi award winning 2000 Trees festival. From July 12th, the 3-day music extravaganza will be at Upcote Farmset in the stunning Cotswold Hills.
It’s a family affair where children and grandparents can come and enjoy good food and great music. You can stay for the whole weekend at the beautiful festival campsite or just come along for the best day of your summer. There’ll be everything you could possibly want from a music festival at 2000 Trees from a silent disco, to the chilled-out vibes of the Forest Sessions.
With over 80 acts across 4 stages there will be something for everyone to enjoy at 2000 Trees.
This is where the main acts of the festival are available to view during your time at the festival, in previous years there have been acts such as Nothing But Thieves, Slaves and Twin Atlantic on the main stage.
Also, on the Main Stage is one of the main events for the younger generation, which is the silent disco.
The silent disco is very popular because there is a range of music available on different channels and it is silent, so it does not wake up any sleeping people and it is good for the environment, as well as being extremely fun for the people attending!
Located further into the middle of the campsite, this is the secondary tent available to watch acts in, as well as having a silent disco of its own with a different genre of music to the Main Stage
The Cave contains a tendency to rock music, more suitable to get right into the music and have a good time. There have been bands such as Creeper playing at The Cave, much more enjoyable if you are into rock music.
Offering an alternative to the music available at the silent disco on the Main Stage, which is more like a dance genre for the young adults, but this offers something for the adults who want to get involved with the silent disco.
Being available for everyone, with genres such as alternative and rock, playing throughout the day to satisfy anyone who is not wanting to listen to any of the bands on the main stage or the cave.
The Axiom does not offer a silent disco, despite this, it is still very good for anyone who wants to chill out and listen to a good set of music available.
The Forest Sessions are designed to be for people who want to chill out and get away from all the loud music that is on at the likes of The Cave and The Main Stage.
Some bands get prepared in this area before they go out to play on The Main Stage. This is what Nothing But Thieves did in 2017, something you would enjoy with the family, as it brings a really calming atmosphere to the festival.
Something new to this year at 2000 Trees are cashless transactions. This means that payments are made by a contactless wristband, rather than using cash to pay for food or products like headphones at the festival. No more waiting around in massive queues to pay for your food while people are rummaging for cash, or worrying about where your bags and wallets are. If you loose your wristband to 2000 Trees staff will transfer the remaining balance from the old wristband to the new one too.
The Festival will be on from Thursday 12th July to Sunday 14th.
